StrategyScoutingScouting is very important for any Age of Kings player. You need to know where resources and enemies are. At the start of the game, you begin with a Scout Cavalry. Using waypoints to plot the recon work of this unit allows you to free up time to concentrate on dvelopment while scouting takes place. Click on your Scout Cavalry and then [Shift]-Right Click on places on the minimap in the order you want your Scout Cavalry to visit them. Finally, right click on your towncenter to complete the route. The scout will go to each of the way points you specify and then return to the town center. This is an effective and non-time consuming way to scout out the map. Plus, chances are good that you might find sheep along the way to send home.
