Joan of Arc Campaign

The Joan of Arc follows the heroine Joan of Arc and her liberation of France during the Hundred Years' War.

1. An Unlikely Messiah

Objective: Escort Joan the Maid to the Chinon castle.

This scenario is a relatively easy one. You start with two knights and Joan. Go through the camp and pick up a little help for the road ahead. Take the road to the southwest. When a battle horn sounds, back off and watch the big fight in the clearing at a distance. Then move on once red has moved on south and kill the highwaymen. Since the bridge is broken, head north and take the northern fork at the crossroads. Kill the highwaymen there and continue alng the path to a bridge.

Cross it and head to the west to the town and pick up reinforcements. Head back across the bridge and turn to the south to purple's fortified encampment. Hold back Joan and the ram. Use your troops to attack the gate to draw the defenders out and destroy them. Use the ram to knock down the gate and the tower.

Head west over to a shallow crossing. Up ahead lies an ambush but you need to go into it to get the ships... But here you can get tricky. Take the knight with the most hit points due west until it sees the transports then run it back or sacrafice it.

Now bring the transports around to your people and put them aboard. Sail back to where you got the boats and head south on the river on the west bank. There's an opening in the trees just south of the fork. Slip you troops through the trees and head to the castle. Here there should be no opposition since by slipping through the trees you bypass a group waiting in ambush further south. Walk Joan upto the castle and win the scenario.
